Hi, I’m Roaster Don!
My name is Don Cunningham, and I’m the founder and co-owner of Cunning House Coffee Company. Having lived & worked in the Greater Pittsburgh region my entire life, I am honored to now be a part of our amazing local coffee scene. I was a coffee drinker for years before discovering the types of beans & brews that really excite me, and I think this is an all-too-common story for many coffee drinkers. In the modern market, there is a greater variety of coffee origins, processing methods, and roast styles available to the consumer than ever before, and figuring out which ones you like can be challenging and expensive. I started Cunning House because I think it should be easier and affordable for folks to enjoy great coffee all the time, regardless of how much you already do or don’t know about the ever-evolving topic. I am here to provide craft coffee for everyone, and I hope you’ll give our beans a chance!
My Name is Luke Sinagra, and I am the newest partner & roaster for Cunning House Coffee Company. Before getting into craft coffee I went to culinary school and worked as a chef. However, I have enjoyed coffee my entire adult life and once I discovered its many complexities & how much of an experience it could be, I knew I wanted to make a career of it. After spending a couple years sharpening my coffee service skills as a barista for The Black Canary Cafe in Springdale, PA, I met Don and found we had a shared vision for what specialty coffee should be. We’ve now teamed up to provide the best possible coffee experiences for our customers and community! In my free time, I train for global Strongman competitions, which is great practice for hoisting full sacks of green coffee at the roastery!

I am a graphic designer, illustrator, maker of things, and official taste tester for Cunning House. When I’m not wearing my full time marketing disguise, you can probably catch me flailing around or waving at the neighborhood animals. We can’t wait to bring these tasty bevys to the ‘Burgh!
